About me đź‘‹

I'm an Italian data engineer with a deep passion for technology that started with my first computer—a second-hand IBM ThinkPad running Windows 98 with no internet connection. That early curiosity sparked a lifelong fascination with data and its power to transform ideas into insights.

I thrive in multicultural environments, and living, studying, and working abroad has helped me develop a global perspective that shapes how I approach both life and work. I love learning from different cultures, traditions, and, of course, their food!

Outside of data, I'm passionate about LEGO—where creativity meets structure—and James Bond films, which feed my love for strategy and adventure. I enjoy cooking, tennis, videogames, and staying curious through books, podcasts, side projects, and meaningful conversations. For me, learning never stops —whether through people, tech, or stories.

What inspires me đź’ˇ

Just like a thriving garden needs sunlight, water, and rich soil, my mind flourishes with the right inspiration. Books, music, and podcasts are the nutrients that keep my curiosity growing—here's what's been fueling my learning journey lately.

Books 📚

I see books as powerful tools for learning, challenging perspectives, and sparking curiosity. Whether on data, intelligence, science, or human behavior, I'm always seeking new insights. Here are a couple of my recent favorites.

Music 🎧

I was born in the '90s and grew up surrounded by incredible music from all genres and eras. My love for international legends like The Beatles, Queen, George Michael, Simply Red, Eagles, Jamiroquai, Lenny Kravitz, Earth, Wind & Fire, Frank Sinatra, Sade, The Rolling Stones, ABBA, Bee Gees, and Michael Jackson blends seamlessly with the magic of Italian icons such as Jovanotti, Giorgia, Pino Daniele, Zucchero, Mina, and Lucio Battisti—and I'm sure I've forgotten someone!

But my first true love was Hip-Hop and Rap. I was drawn to the legendary rivalry between the East Coast and West Coast scenes—the gritty lyricism of Biggie, Nas, Jay-Z, Wu-Tang Clan, Mobb Deep, Rakim, and DMX from the East, contrasted with the raw energy of 2Pac, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, Eazy-E, The Game, and Warren G from the West. And then there was Eminem, who transcended coasts and brought a whole new dimension to rap with his storytelling and technical mastery.

At the same time, I was captivated by the Italian hip-hop movement, with artists like Articolo 31, Bassi Maestro, Fabri Fibra, Neffa, and Frankie Hi-Nrg shaping the soundtrack of my teenage years. Their music still brings me energy and nostalgia today. That passion led me to curate two Spotify playlists—one for timeless classics and another for Hip-Hop and Rap essentials—where I regularly update and share the tracks that inspire me the most.
